It is coming up to the anniversary of 9.11.2001 To many Americans it is a fading memory of a moment in time. But to my family, it was personal, my husband his friends , family and co-workers worked in the shadow of the World Trade Twin Towers. These towers once cast a vey large, imposing shadow. If you ever had the opportunity to stand before them it was, for me, an other worldly experience. Monoliths rising to the sky their breadth as imposing as their soaring height. To be next to them and, look up and be consumed by their presence was a dizzying experience. They day they were targeted, was a day like any other, I would be expecting my husband to call to say he arrived at his office (he has a two and a half hour commute every morning door ro door). We would exchange our usual morning greeting, kiss the phone, wish each other a good day and promise we would see each other later. He would not get home that day until about 9 hours after the world trade buildings were attack. He worked on Wall Street.

To honor him and and all those impacted by this event, I am starting a perpetual give back campaign. Today, any sale of a mug or water thermos with the Floating Heart Flag  and, Never Forget 9.11.2001 image will generate a donation of 20% of my net profit on each of these items. I will give this donation to Tunnels2Towers. I will keep this campaign going all year, every year that I have my on-line business. Tunnels2Towers is a great organization, they give back and have never forgotten this dreadful moment, and have honored those that are gone, those that survived, all those that responded in a moment of great need. The Tunnel2Towers organization has never forgotten those that perished.
